AI Voice Receptionist · Law Firms

The client who calls at 8pm hires whoever answers.

Prospective clients call around. The AI intake receptionist answers every call, screens the matter, captures the details and books the consultation — the way we built it for ALG Lawyers.

The problem

The second caller goes to your competitor.

Most callers who hit voicemail do not leave a message — they call the next business on the list. The calls you miss are rarely the quiet ones; they are the evening emergencies, the lunch-hour rushes and the moment two phones ring at once.

  • Prospective clients call several firms and retain the first one that picks up.
  • Intake calls after hours or during court go unanswered.
  • Unscreened calls eat up lawyers' time while good matters slip away.

What it handles for law firms

  • Personal injury and accident intake
  • Immigration and family law enquiries
  • Criminal defence calls that can't wait
  • Booking consultations into the firm's calendar

How it works
01

Your number, our receptionist

Calls forward to the AI only when you want — after hours, on overflow, or both. Your existing number stays.

02

It talks like your best front-desk person

Trained on your services, hours, prices and policies. It answers questions, captures the caller's details and books into your calendar.

03

Urgent calls reach a human

Clear transfer rules: emergencies, existing clients or anyone who asks gets warm-transferred to the right person.

04

Every call lands in your inbox

A transcript and summary for every call, sent to email, Slack or your CRM — so nothing depends on someone checking voicemail.

Case study · ALG Lawyers

An intake line for a law firm that never closes.

ALG Lawyers needed every prospective client call answered and screened — including the ones that come in after the office closes. We built a voice receptionist that takes the intake conversation, records the details and passes qualified matters to the team. It is still running in production.

  • Answers intake calls outside office hours
  • Captures the matter, contact details and urgency on every call
  • Hands each call to the team as a structured record with a transcript
Questions

FAQ

Does it give legal advice?

No. It gathers intake information and books consultations. It never offers legal advice and routes urgent matters to a lawyer according to your rules.

Will callers know they're talking to an AI?

The receptionist is natural and conversational, and we recommend it introduces itself honestly. Callers who would rather speak with a person are transferred straight away.

Do I have to change my phone number?

No. We forward calls from your existing number — after hours, on overflow when no one picks up, or both. You choose.

What happens with urgent calls?

You define what counts as urgent. Those calls are warm-transferred to the right person, or flagged instantly by text or Slack.

Does it replace my receptionist?

No. It covers the calls your team can't take — after hours and overflow. Your front desk keeps doing what it does well.

What does it cost to run?

$1,500 to build, then $500/month for monitoring and support (3-month minimum) or $450/month on a 6-month term. Telephony and voice platform usage is billed to you directly at cost.

How does the guarantee work?

If the receptionist doesn't capture missed calls worth more than its monthly fee within 60 days of launch, your next month is free. We measure it together from the call logs.

Which tools does it connect to?

Common calendars (Google, Outlook, Calendly and practice-management booking), CRMs such as HubSpot, Zoho and Salesforce, and email or Slack for notifications.
